Chatham Township Recycles

Help keep our Township clean, and protect our environment.  Removing recyclables from our waste reduces amounts going to landfills and is less expensive than land filling.  It takes 95 percent less energy to make an aluminum can from recycled aluminum than from virgin bauxite ore.  Recycling an aluminum can saves 6 ounces of gasoline!  Recycling a three foot stack of newspapers saves a 40 foot tree!

Chatham Township provides residence pickup service curbside every other Friday.  The cost of the recycling service is paid through Township funds.

If you are a new homeowner in Chatham Township, and need a recycling container, please call Republic services at 763-972-3335, and they will provide you with a recycling cart.

Have your recyclables out at the curb by 7:00 a.m.

Materials that can be recycled are listed on the cart lid.
